Living For Eden

Paul Cardall is a friend of my family's. He is an AMAZING pianist for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Paul was born with CHD (Coronary Heart Disease) and his cute little family is struggling financially while he waits for a new heart. To read more about his touching story, visit his blog. On April 6 at Cottonwood High School Kurt Bestor, Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband, Colors, and Peter Breinholt (all close friends of Paul and his family) will be hosting a benefit concert for the Cardall's. Tickets are $12 and %100 of the proceeds will help Paul with his mounting expenses. To buy tickets, donate to the Cardall's or to find out more about the concert, please visit Living For Eden.

My Love/Hate Relationship

I love "The Office". But I honestly couldn't tell you why other than the fact that I laugh my guts out. I can't stand most of the characters on the show. Michael is so dumb I watch half the show with my eyebrows scrunched up. Dwight is so mean! It makes me so mad! It makes me want to punch a baby...(thanks Dane Cook). I don't like Kevin and the way he over enunciates every word.. I don't like Angela... I don't like Andy, he's such a dork. I DON'T like Kelly. I first started watching "The Office" on my computer after work while I would wait for Brian to pick me up. I watched one episode and I was like "what the crap, this is so dumb". But I found myself watching another episode the next day. After 3 days like this, I was hooked. So now, every Thursday night at 8, you will find me in front of the TV, watching "The Office".

Bittersweet

Last night, Brian and I said goodbye to a cherished friend... our Civic. We both new this day was coming, but I still couldn't help but be depressed when we handed over the keys. I had to keep telling myself on the way home "this was the right decision".

On a happy note, we no longer have a car payment. We OWN two cars! What a great feeling!

3 Years of Wedded Bliss

Tuesday, March 3rd was our 3 year anniversary! Woo hoo! Brian and I are trying to be financially smarter, so we just kept it low key and went to dinner at Red Lobster. Neither of us had ever been there and can I just say one thing? DELICIOUS! Man alive, I had the coconut shrimp and I kept saying to Brian, "it's like candy!" Brian tried lobster for the first time and we were both "eh" about it.

Happy anniversary to my favorite husband! I know I drive you insane most of the time, but thank you for being patient with me and always being the first one to go back to "normal" after we argue. Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. It seems like we've been married a LOT longer than 3 years. I love you so much and I feel like I grow closer to you every day! Love your face!
