My fellow Twilighters... I am so excited for this movie to come out that last night, I tried to reserve Brian for the night of December 12, 2008, the night "Twilight" comes to theaters. So this is how our conversation went:
Mallory: Brian, will you take me on a date on December 12, 2008?
Brian: Oh boy, what's going on that night?
Mallory: The Vampire movie comes out.
Brian: No, I don't want to be the only guy in the theater.
Mallory: You won't be. All the girlfriends and wives will make their boyfriends and husbands take them to the movie too.
Brian: Whatever... ask Todd if Jessica is making him go.
I then proceded to tell Brian that Jessica is probably not as insanely obsessed with The Twilight Series as I am. In fact, I often wonder if ANYONE is as insanely obsessed as I am, and sometimes after reading these books, I have a hard time coming back to reality. Andrea... Jenni... Lachelle.. are you with me on this one? So I ask you, will you be dragging your significant other to the premier of "Twilight"?

I haven't read twilight yet and reading this makes me more inclined to do so. But tell Brian that it is his duty and obligation as your husband to attend chick flicks with you every once in awhile! He probably secretly likes it anyway! By the way, I'll probably be in SLC some this weekend. Let me know if you want to get together to talk about scrapbooking stuff
Mal, sorry to inform you, that my husband is 1/2 way through the last book of the series. He's really enjoyed the books and the preview of the movie is what made him want to read them. So...I guarantee that Rich will be going to the movie with me. And, I promise him that he will not be the only guy out there. Alot of guys probably wont know anything about it until the preview comes out and may go just because the previews looked good. Come visit me...I'll go with you.

First off, I don't think you could possibly be as obsessed with the Twilight series as I am!!! I absolutely hate reading, but I LOVE these books! I have vampire dreams about Edward!!! In fact, before I knew they were making a movie, I told everyone that I was going to audition for Bella if they ever made a movie! I will definately drag Mark to the movie with me. And if he refuses to go, I'll freaking go by myself!! I'm so excited! What are your predictions on book 4? I think that the whole book is going to be Edward and Jacob fighting for Bella....I seriously hate Jacob! I'll be so pissed if she ends up with Jacob!!
Mal, Matt finally got me to read them. I love them too. I hate the characters that they chose for the film. I think they are all ugly. I don't get it. I will see the movie anyway but I must admit I am rather disappointed. I made a deal with Matt that if I saw "Speed Racer" then he would have to see "Sex and the City" with me. Try something like that on Brian. He will probably enjoy the movie anyway.
