Oyler's Cabin

This past weekend, Brian and I got to go up to Oakley (or Kamas or where ever the heck it was) and have a slumber party with my family at our friends cabin. It was so much fun!

We went up Saturday evening and had steak and potatoes for dinner and celebrated my mom's 50th birthday! Happy birthday, Mom! My brothers and I had worked on her gift for several weeks and it turned out really awesome! We made her a literal family tree. Very cute. I think it's safe to say she liked it.

Later that night we roasted marshmallows over the grill (yes, we are lame and we roasted over the grill and not the fire). We also played Twister and laughed our guts out. I'm telling you... I don't remember the last time I laughed so hard. Let's just say me and my brothers are silly when we get together. All the pictures my dad took of me, I am crying because I am laughing so hard.

Brian sleeping with his doggy. Look how tight he's holding on!

Sunday we had a picnic and went to the lake.

We played outside some more when we got back on the swings. Brian thought that Zoey would like to try swinging... I was a little nervous, but she did ok.

All in all, it was a fun little weekend get away. We also got to spend some time getting to know my brother's soon-to-be fiance, so that was fun too. Thanks Mom and Dad Weiss for inviting us on your mini-vacation!
